About the role?
Currently we are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Installation team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Installation Manager, you will be responsible for installing lifts and escalators across our customer sites. Your key accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring receipt of required goods
  • Preparation and installation of lifts / escalators
  • Coordinating quality testing of lifts / escalators
  • Completing quality checks & reporting non-conformances
  • Ensuring work sites are kept tidy and that all paperwork is up to date

What we are looking for?
To be successful in the role you will ideally have previous experience in the lift industry in a similar role and a working knowledge of the lift codes and standards. You will also possess:

  • A Electrical trade certificate or equivalent and current electrical licence
  • A current driver's license
  • General Construction Induction Card
  • Outstanding communication skills and customer service etiquette
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
  • Previous working with heights & manual handling experience is highly regarded though not essential.
