About the role?

We have an opportunity for an experienced Repairs Sales Consultant to join our Sydney team, managing our Repairs sales portfolio. Reporting to the Sydney Service and Repairs Sales Manager you will be responsible for having a detailed knowledge of clients’ contracts, scope of works and pricing and providing client service delivery information to the Operations teams to ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered to our clients across the business. A key focus is building a pipeline of repair upgrade sales to meet business development and portfolio development targets.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

  • Relationships selling to existing contracted customers
  • Preparation and submission of tenders
  • Contract negotiations
  • Understanding market conditions to identify opportunities to promote Schindler services

What we are looking for?

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in a sales or account management role
  • A track record in delivering consistent outstanding performance with a strong sales pipeline
  • Exposure to selling technical products and services to property management companies, strata corporations and building owners
  • Degree or Diploma qualification in an appropriate technical or business-related discipline (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in contract management, negotiation and compliance
  • Excellent leadership and client relationship building skills with the ability to build long term relationships with customers, key influencers and industry experts
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • A current driver's license
